You pick the apps you waste time on, set a task you've been putting off, and those apps stay locked until you finish the task and prove it. It's screen-time control with real follow-through — the only way back to your apps is through the thing you're avoiding.
Anything you can show real evidence of completing — finishing work, cleaning, working out, getting out of bed, studying, taking your meds, going outside. When you create a task, the app tells you what counts as proof for it. If a task can't be verified (like “be more positive”), it suggests a version that can.
By AI, against what you set out to do — a photo of the finished task, or you in the relevant place (like out of bed). For movement, sleep, and fitness tasks you can verify automatically with Apple Health (steps, workouts, wake time), with no photo at all. If verification rejects your proof, it tells you exactly what to fix.
Yes — it uses Apple's Screen Time to shield the apps you choose. You're always in control of your own device: you can revoke Screen Time access in iOS Settings at any time, and a few limited “passes” let you lift a block in a genuine emergency.
Read the reason the app gives and follow the hint (for example, “show me you're out of bed — try a shot at the sink”). Make sure photos are taken with the in-app camera and clearly show the result. If you're using Apple Health verification and your data hasn't synced yet, give it a minute, or switch that task to photo proof.
We collect only what's needed to run the app, never sell it, and show no ads. Your proof photos are used only to verify tasks. If you connect Apple Health, that data is read on your device only and never uploaded. See our Privacy Policy.
Subscriptions are billed by Apple, so you manage or cancel them in your Apple account settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions). Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. There are no other charges — No More Later never takes money for missing a task.
In the app, go to Account → Delete Account. This removes your associated data. You can also email us and we'll help.
